After the ninth tournament of the 2021 Epson Tour season, the Race for the Card rankings shuffled after the Island Resort Championship at Sweetgrass Golf Club in Harris, Mich.

For the ninth straight week, Ruixin Liu (Guangdong, People’s Republic of China) maintains the No. 1 spot in the money list with the help of two wins and earnings of $71,017. Climbing eleven spots after winning the Island Resort Championship, Morgane Metraux is back in the top-10. With three top-10 finishes in nine starts, the Florida State University alum has earned $61,680 this season. Only $1,279 behind Metraux, Fatima Fernandez Cano (Santiago, Spain) is No. 3 with six top-10 finishes in seven events and season earnings of $60,401.

“My main goal for the year is to make it in the top-10 at the end of the season and to do that I had set myself a goal to win at least one event. To have won last week about halfway through the season makes me jump into second in the Race for the Card rankings. And that means I can go to the second half of the season a little more relaxed knowing that I have built a little cushion,” said Metraux. “My new goal is now to win a second event. To know that I have already crossed that line one time gives me all the confidence that I can do it again. Obviously, it’s a really nice place to be, knowing that I don’t need to make up ground but rather that I can increase that cushion and make it even more comfortable and stress free for the last few events.”

Following her third runner-up finish this season, Maude-Aimee Leblanc (Sherbrooke, Quebec) checks in at No. 4 with $56,712. The Garden City Charity Classic champion, Lilia Vu (Foutain Valley, California), moves down to No. 5 with season earnings of $50,902. And just behind with $41,834 is IOA Golf Classic presented by RP Funding winner Allison Emrey (Charlotte, North Carolina).

While Road to the LPGA rookie Sophie Hausmann (Nottuln, Germany) has missed the last three cuts, she stays in the top-10 but moves down to No. 7 with total earnings $41,632. Casey Danielson (Osceola, Wisconsin) checks into the group at No. 8 after a top-20 finish in Harris, Mich. And staying at No. 9 with $39,320 is Samantha Wagner (Windermere, Florida) who claimed her eighth career top-10 last week at the Mission Inn Resort and Club Chamionship. The inaugural Copper Rock Championship winner Bailey Tardy (Norcross, Georgia) completes the group with $35,434 so far this year.

At the end of the season, the top-10 players in the Race for the Card standings will graduate onto the LPGA Tour for the 2022 campaign.
