The field for the 2024 Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells has been set and tees up an exciting season finale in a new location than years past, at the Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, Calif. The tournament was previously held at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., and despite the location change, the event will follow the same 72-hole stroke play format.

The 108-player field will tee it up on Indian Wells Golf Resort’s Players Course from October 3-6, with 15 LPGA Tour Cards and $287,500 on the line. The champion will take home 650 Race for the Card points and $43,125.

Before heading out west for the tournament, five athletes secured their spot in the top 15 and LPGA Tour membership for the 2025 season. Lauren Stephenson, Yahui Zhang, Jessica Porvasnik, Fatima Fernandez Cano and Brooke Matthews clinched their cards following the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout, and despite knowing they’ll be LPGA Tour members in 2025, the four are still focused on a top finish at the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells and graduating as part of the top 10.

Notable names competing in the tournament are Ingrid Lindblad, Ana Belac and Saki Baba. Lindblad and Baba will tee it up in their first-ever Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells, both having a stellar rookie season on the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA. Sweden native, Ingrid Lindblad turned professional almost halfway through the Epson Tour season, collecting her first win at the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic in September. Before turning professional, she spent 53 weeks as No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. Japanese rookie, Saki Baba has earned four top-10 finishes this year and looks to capture her first professional win at the season-ending event next week.

“Since the championship tournament is the last tournament, and there is an opportunity to get more points, I am excited for the challenge,” said Baba. “My goal is to finish the season strong.”

Ana Belac is another player to watch as the season concludes. Like Baba, the Slovenian has also earned four top-10 finishes in 2024 but also represented her country at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Currently No. 9 in the Race for the Card rankings, Belac could find herself back on the LPGA Tour in 2025 with a top finish at the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells.

The Epson Tour Championship has a rich history of past champions, with many moving on to the LPGA Tour as a result of their victory, including 2023 champion Auston Kim. The Floridian’s win catapulted her from No. 15 in the Race for the Card rankings to No. 3, and she has since gone on to find success on the LPGA Tour, earning two top-10 finishes.

Three other past champions, Laura Wearn (2019), Rachel Rohanna (2017) and Daniela Iacobelli (2012) will tee it up in the 2024 playing, looking for their second Epson Tour Championship victory. Iacobelli currently sits at No. 10 in the Race for the Card rankings, so a top finish at the season finale event would give the Floridian another shot on the biggest stage in women’s golf.

“Winning to me would be indescribable,” said Iacobelli. “My mom and girlfriend will be there. My mom hasn’t been able to watch a lot of golf the last few years, and she was there for my first win back in 2012. I would love nothing more than to make her happy cry again.”

Tickets for the tournament are on sale now, starting at $15 for a general admission day pass and $45 for all four tournament days, with kids 17 and under being admitted free with a ticketed adult. An upgraded VIP Hospitality ticket offering is also available. The Epson Tour is also pleased to offer both current and former members of the U.S. Military and their accompanying spouse/partner OR dependent complimentary general admission tickets. Shuttles will be available from the lot to the main tournament entrance beginning at 6:15 a.m. local time from Thursday-Sunday.

A junior clinic will be held on Saturday, October 5th, benefiting the First Tee - Coachella Valley chapter. In addition to learning from the best in the game, First Tee participants will also have the opportunity to serve as standard bearers on Saturday and Sunday.
