Saki Baba

Baba returns to action this week at the Four Winds Invitational after taking a week off at the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. The rookie has found good form over her last five starts, finishing inside the top 10 in four of the events including a runner-up finish Island Resort Championship presented by Delta County Chamber. She currently is No. 21 in the Race for the Card, six spots outside a coveted top 15. A strong finish this week at the Four Winds Invitational could bump the Japan native into prime position for an LPGA Tour card in 2025 as the season winds down.

Briana Chacon

Chacon was the first rookie to win on the Epson Tour in 2024, taking home the inaugural Atlantic Beach Classic in just her third professional start. The season since the win has had its ups and downs. The California native has made the majority of her cuts but has yet to add another top 10 finish to her rookie resume in 2024. Fiona Xu

Xu rounds out the star-studded rookie group and she currently leads the way in the Race for the Card, holding the No. 1 position with five events to play. Xu won the Copper Rock Championship earlier this season in record setting fashion, finishing 22-under over 54-holes, breaking the all-time Epson Tour scoring record. The 19-year-old has a runner-up finish at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa. Xu is coming off her best finish of the season since her win, ending the week at the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic in a tie for fifth.

Alexis Miestowski

Miestowski is one of the few athletes this week with a connection to the state of Indiana, having grown up in the Hoosier State and played her collegiate career at the University of Indiana from 2018-2022. Despite not having the rookie season she’s hoped for, the 24-year-old has seen a shift in momentum with a T2 finish at the Pre-Qualifying Stage of LPGA Q-Series, which was played against over 300 other athletes. The Indiana native has secured her spot in the next stage of Q-Series following her top finish in Palm Springs and can now focus on her results on the Epson Tour, starting with the Four Winds Invitational.

Annabelle Pancake

Pancake has earned her second Epson Tour sponsor exemption in her home state of Indiana this year, teeing it up at the Four Winds Invitational. Back in June, the Clemson Tiger played in the Otter Creek Championship and finished T13. Like Miestowski, Pancake also finished well at the Pre-Qualifying stage of LPGA Q-Series, earning a T4 result. While the Indiana native waits for her next go at LPGA Q-Series' Qualifying Tournament in October, Pancake is getting a feel for what life on tour could look like.

Erica Shepherd

Shepherd is the final member of the hometown Indiana grouping. During her first season on the Epson Tour, the Duke University grad missed her first seven cuts, but has since found her footing in professional golf. Her best finish of the season came at the Otter Creek Championship, also in Indiana, where she finished T21. Shepherd has proven she belongs among the world's best, making the cut in four LPGA Tour events while attending Duke, even finishing T35 at the 2019 Marathon Classic. If Shepherd continues to improve each week, she could find herself near the top of the leaderboard by weeks end.
