The 2025 Epson Tour season begins tomorrow at the Central Florida Championship with a field of familiar and new faces taking on the Country Club of Winter Haven. The field of 120 is set to take on its first test of the year; here are a few names to keep an eye on this week:

Maria Fassi – (R1: 8:32 a.m. / R2: 1:07 p.m.)

Fassi is making her fourth start on the Epson Tour since turning professional in 2019 and her first start since 2022. The Mexico native enjoyed a prolific amateur career, winning 17 amateur events, including the Women’s Mexican Amateur three times and the 2019 NCAA Women’s Division I Championship just to name a couple. Fassi also finished runner-up at the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur behind Jennifer Kupcho before turning pro. Since joining the LPGA Tour, Fassi has represented Mexico in two Olympic Games (2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris) and consistently finished between 60-85 on the LPGA Tour Official Money List. She showed signs of winning golf on Tour, finishing in the top 10 in 10 events, with a career-best third-place finish at the 2022 Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G.

Ashley Lau – (R1: 8:10 a.m. / 12:45 p.m.)

Lau is entering her third season as an Epson Tour member and coming off the best season of her young career. Lau finished 31st in the Race for the Card after a career-best runner-up finish at the 2024 Epson Tour Championship presented by Indian Wells. The 24-year-old also represented Malaysia in the 2024 Paris Olympics for the first time. Lau attended the University of Michigan before turning professional, where she was named Big Ten Golfer of the Year in 2022. Despite two good Epson Tour seasons, Lau has yet to make a cut at her opening event of the season, a streak she hopes to break this week at Winter Haven Country Club.

Hailee Cooper – (R1: 12:45 p.m. / R2: 8:10 a.m.)

Cooper made a huge impact on the Epson Tour during her rookie season in 2024. She made her first start at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort & Spa after winning an ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour event to gain entry. A made cut resulted in Cooper getting reshuffled into the next stretch of events, and she took full advantage. In the remaining 11 events, the former Texas A&M Aggie made 10 cuts and finished runner-up at the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout. In just 12 events, Cooper finished the season at No. 32 on the Race for the Card and had four top-10 finishes to emphasize a strong rookie year. Now, heading into her sophomore season, she is a name to watch to earn her LPGA Tour card for the first time.
