The second playing of the Atlantic Beach Classic Presented by Access Golf is set to begin tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. local time. With plenty of new and returning faces in the field, here are a few players to watch this week at Atlantic Beach Country Club.

Kaitlyn Papp Budde

Papp Budde spent last season splitting time between the Epson and LPGA Tours, competing in 14 LPGA Tour events and three Epson Tour events. In her three starts on the Epson Tour in 2024, Papp Budde made the cut in all of them and put together a top-10 performance at the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic with a T8 finish. While the 26-year-old had more starts on the LPGA Tour, the success was not as prominent, with her best result coming at the JM Eagle LA Championship where she finished T13.

Briana Chacon

Chacon took home the trophy at the inaugural Atlantic Beach Classic Presented by Access Golf, with a 7-under performance in difficult conditions. The 2024 season was Chacon’s rookie season as well, finishing 25th in the Race for the Card. The former University of Oregon Duck also enjoyed a successful amateur career before turning pro, holding the all-time scoring record for the program and competed in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur twice, just to a name a couple of accomplishments. Chacon will try to draw on past memories and experiences at Atlantic Beach Country Club to put together another championship worthy performance.
