The Epson Tour is set to kick off its 2025 Florida swing and 45th anniversary season as the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA at the Central Florida Championship in just a week’s time. The first three stops are all locations that were on the Epson Tour schedule in 2024, and each tournament has its own unique and growing history. Take a look at which events are up first for the 2025 Epson Tour season.

Central Florida Championship | Winter Haven, Florida | Feb. 28-March 2

Course: Country Club of Winter Haven

The Country Club of Winter Haven continues to host the Epson Tour’s season-opening tournament, but this time, that event has a new name. The Central Florida Championship is taking the place of the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic going forward, but the venue remains the same. The 2024 champion, Valery Plata, is set to be in attendance as she defends her title, the first of three title defenses for three different athletes during the Florida Swing. The Country Club of Winter Haven has a track record of the ‘cream rising to the top’ over the past couple of years, with four players in the top five on the leaderboard earning their cards during the 2024 season and three of the top-seven finishes earning their cards in 2023, including the 2023 winner, Agathe Laisne, who will also tee it up in the 2025 Central Florida Championship.

Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf | Atlantic Beach, Florida | March 6-8

Course: Atlantic Beach Country Club

The Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf made its inaugural appearance during the 2024 season and quickly made a huge impact on Epson Tour athletes. The tournament, based just outside of Jacksonville, Fla., drums up some of the biggest crowds of the season, which is impressive given the tournament’s newness. Briana Chacon took home the first trophy ever at the Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf, a win that was also the rookie’s first professional victory. Now, heading into the second annual Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf, the anticipation has only grown, so expect better turnouts in 2025 and even more great golf.

IOA Golf Classic presented by Aperture | Longwood, Florida | March 14-16

Course: Alaqua Country Club
Purse: $225,000
Winner’s Check: $33,750

The IOA Golf Classic presented by Aperture is the first of the IOA sister events, with the IOA Golf Classic heading into its 12th season as a tournament on the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA. Alaqua Country Club is one of the narrower courses on Tour, highlighting the need for a different skill set than some of the more wide-open courses athletes will see throughout the year. The 2024 champion, Jessica Peng, is not currently set to defend her title, but that can change before the Tour tees it up in mid-March.
